Michael's Floor Covering

Michael's Floor Covering, now operating as Floors by Michael, has been serving flooring customers for 73 years. The company has locations in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Holland, Ohio; and Plymouth, Michigan, with its Fort Wayne showroom at 6161 E. State Boulevard.

Flooring for Different Areas of the Home

Floors by Michael carries a broad range of residential flooring materials, allowing the choice to be matched to how a room is used.

Options include:

• carpet;
• hardwood;
• laminate;
• luxury vinyl tile and plank;
• luxury sheet vinyl;
• ceramic and porcelain tile.

Carpet can provide a softer surface for bedrooms and living areas, while hardwood and laminate are common choices for larger living spaces. Luxury vinyl and tile provide additional options for areas where durability and easier maintenance are priorities.

The selection allows flooring to be planned room by room or as part of a larger whole-home replacement.

Choosing and Installing New Flooring

Homeowners can view products at one of the company's physical locations or arrange to see flooring options at home. Comparing samples in the actual room can make it easier to evaluate how a material works with existing light, furniture, cabinetry, and wall colors.

Once a material is selected, the project moves into measurement, preparation, and installation.

Three Regional Locations

Floors by Michael operates from Fort Wayne, IN; Holland, OH; and Plymouth, MI, giving the company a presence across portions of Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.

With 73 years of flooring experience, projects can range from replacing one room of carpet to installing new flooring across several areas of a home. Homeowners can start with a free quote request describing the rooms involved and the flooring type they are considering.
