Direct Remodels

Direct Remodels LLC is a Florida window replacement contractor based in St. Petersburg. Founded in 2017, the company focuses on residential window replacement projects, including impact-resistant windows designed for homes in hurricane-prone areas. Its St. Petersburg office is located at 3215 Bennett Street North.

The company works with homeowners replacing older, damaged, or outdated windows and offers both impact and non-impact options. Direct Remodels purchases window products from manufacturers including Viwinco, ES Windows, and Eastern Architectural Systems. Its projects include measuring existing openings, selecting replacement window styles, coordinating permits, installation, and inspection requirements.

Replacement and Impact Window Options

Direct Remodels installs several common residential window styles, allowing homeowners to choose options that fit different rooms and openings. Available styles include:

• Sliding windows
• Single-hung windows
• Double-hung windows
• Picture windows
• Casement windows
• Architectural windows

Impact windows are one of the company's main specialties. These windows use laminated glass with an interlayer that helps hold the glass together if it is struck by wind-borne debris. This type of window is commonly used in parts of Florida where homes may be exposed to hurricanes and severe storms.

Direct Remodels also installs non-impact replacement windows for projects where impact-rated products are not required or selected. Installation work is completed by the company's own crews. The company also handles permitting and inspection coordination associated with window replacement projects.
