About Straight Line Roofing & Construction

Straight Line Roofing & Construction has served Northern California homeowners since 1999, giving the company 27 years in business. Its main office is at 3811 Dividend Drive, Suite A in Shingle Springs, with additional locations across the Sacramento region. The company's exterior services include roofing, metal roofing, siding, replacement windows, and gutters.

Roofing and Metal Roofing

Straight Line handles roof repair and replacement across several residential roofing systems.

Its work includes:

asphalt shingles;
tile roofing;
flat roofing;
metal roofing;
roof repair;
full roof replacement.

Metal roofing is available as a dedicated option for homeowners considering a longer-term alternative to conventional roofing materials.

Siding, Windows, and Gutters

Exterior services extend beyond the roof to siding installation, replacement windows, and gutter work.

These improvements can be completed individually or coordinated when several parts of the home's exterior need attention. Replacing windows or siding alongside roofing, for example, can help create a more consistent exterior renovation while gutter replacement addresses drainage along the roofline.

Serving Greater Sacramento

Straight Line operates from Shingle Springs with additional locations in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, and Concord. Its service area includes communities such as Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove, Auburn, Cameron Park, and other parts of the Greater Sacramento region.

Projects involving roof repair or replacement, metal roofing, siding, new windows, or gutter work can start with a free quote request outlining the condition of the exterior and planned improvements.

I was contemplating getting a new roof, but when a tree crashed into the house, I needed to get an estimate immediately. Having seen their trucks during the 25 years we've lived in Pollock Pines, I called Straight Line without considering another company. It turned out to be a good decision. My first contact was with estimator Shaun Sergent who walked me through the process of damage assessment, roofing choices, pricing and scheduling the eventual work. Although his responsibility was essentially over once the job was underway, Shaun remained available throughout the process to answer questions or forward them to the right people. He was especially valuable helping me navigate the insurance claim process by preparing a separate detailed assessment and estimate of the damage caused by the tree. When I informed him of the settlement I received, Shaun immediately requested a "Certificate of Completion," so I could recover an additional amount that had been designated as depreciation. I was extremely satisfied with the overall quality of the workmanship and the competency of the technicians. Everyone involved in the project was friendly and helpful. The foreman, Austin, and the project manager, Tony, made themselves available by phone to handle issues that arose during the job. Even weeks after completion, when I had a problem replacing the gutter debris screens (which was totally my responsibility) Tony delivered extra screens and shingles without hesitation. The value I received from Straight Line - from the excellent work quality to the veteran's discount and insurance advice - was worth every penny I paid. I might have been able to get a slightly cheaper price from another roofing company, but I know Straight Line has my back and will be there for at least the 5 years of their workmanship warranty and beyond if I need them.

Excellent experience all around! Kyle was super helpful, explained everything, and went above and beyond with some of the trickier aspects of my roof and the foliage around it. It feels good finding a roofer I can trust and work with going forward - thanks to Kyle and the team!

I had an excellent experience with Straight Line Roofing and Construction. Kyle Case came out to inspect a leak I was dealing with and quickly identified the source. What really stood out was that he didn’t stop there—he also pointed out a few potential issues that could become problems down the road. He was honest, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly without trying to upsell unnecessary work. Instead of pushing for a service, he provided a simple, practical solution and even went out of his way to bring me the exact part I needed so I could handle the repair myself. This is the second time I’ve used Straight Line Roofing, and both experiences have been consistent in quality and integrity. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service.

Straight line Roofing is the most knowledgeable, honest, best company I have used. Andy initially came to our house. He was not a lame salesman just trying to make a buck,, he has actually done everything in the roofing and construction business. He is so funny and took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions. Once we got our contract signed, the crew came out. We got a new roof,, gutters and 2 sun tunnels. Roberto and the crew were very professional, shook my hand and wete also very easy to work with. They knew what they were doing and also enjoyed their work. Kept me updated all the time. They were the best group of guys to work with. I will recommend them to EVERYONE I know. Soon, we are going to have them do siding on the front of our home. The best company to work with. Everything is perfect!!!😁✌️

I worked with Straight Line Construction on gutters and other home repairs, and I want to specifically recognize Jason, one of the foremen, who truly made all the difference. Jason went well beyond what was expected—taking the time to catch details others might overlook and making sure everything was done the right way, not just the easy way. His attention to detail, practical judgment, and oversight ensured that issues were corrected and the work was handled thoroughly and properly. If Jason is overseeing your project, you can feel confident it will be done right. He’s an outstanding professional, and his work speaks for itself. Thanks to Jack the owner, and the teams in the field that did a fantastic job.
